Who remembers Ace’s awesome meditation mood board?  Well she inspired me to create my own fall mood board.

mood board:

 an arrangement of images, materials, pieces of text, etc., intended to evoke or project a particular style or concept.

I’ve seen mood boards used in fashion, photography, branding, web design, wedding planning, and interior decorating.  It can include just about anything — photography, designs or illustrations, color palettes, textures, descriptive words — anything that helps you define the direction or feeling of your project. I plan to use my fall mood board to inspire my style and my creative endeavors this season.

This fall I’m embracing my minimalism journey by focusing on simplicity. I hope my fall mood board inspires me to see the beauty in simple things. Additionally, I want to simplify my writing process. I think sometimes I try really hard to write blog posts on what I think will garner the most views. In reality, my most popular posts are the ones where I just wrote what I was feeling. Finally, my goal is to really enjoy the changing season and changes in life as well.
