Let me be clear: when I say “fall cocktails you need to try”, I mean “we”. Honestly, truly– I wrote this list for myself. Haters will say that the love of Fall is basic, and that’s why haters don’t matter. When I think of fall cocktails, the first thing that comes to mind is hot cider and pumpkin beer. Thanks to my good friend Pinterest, I’m thinking outside the box this season (with lots of bourbon).
Fall Cocktails You Need to Try
Apple Cider Mimosa
Ingredients:
3 ounces apple cider
3 ounces champagne
Brown sugar and apple slices for garnish, optional

Bourbon Cider Sour
Ingredients:
3 ounces (2 shots) of bourbon
1 cup apple cider
½ cup orange juice
¼ cup sugar
Crushed or cubed ice
1 gala or honeycrisp apple, sliced for garnish

Apple Pie Moscow Mule
Ingredients:
4 ounces apple cider
4 ounces apple pie vodka (or caramel vodka)
1 bottle ginger beer
cinnamon sticks and apple slices for garnish

Fall All Over (Hendrick’s Gin)
Ingredients:
1.5 ounces gin
.75 ounces fresh squeezed lemon juice
.75 ounce apple juice or cider
Ginger Beer, chilled
Garnish:
Apple slices
Nutmeg

Rosemary Bourbon Sour
Ingredients:
3 shots bourbon
1 & 1/2 shots fresh lemon juice
3/4 shot dark amber maple syrup
1 large sprig of rosemary (plus 2 small sprigs for garnish)
Crush the large sprig of rosemary in your hand and add it to the shaker.

Honeycrisp Apple Sangria
Ingredients:
3 cinnamon sticks (plus more for garnish)
2 honeycrisp apples, chopped
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 (750 ml) bottle red wine (a light-bodied Spanish variety is suggested)
1 and 3/4 cups homemade apple cider or store-bought1
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup orange juice (or juice from 2 medium oranges)
juice from 1 lemon
club soda, to taste

Drunken Pumpkin Latte
Ingredients:
(This recipe makes 2 drinks. One for you and one for me, haha!)
1 cup brewed coffee
¼ cup milk
¼ cup RumChata
2 Tbsp. pumpkin pie vodka
1 Tbsp. sugar
⅛ tsp. ground cinnamon
FOR A PITCHER (8 Cups):
4½ cups brewed coffee
1¼ cups milk
1¼ cups RumChata
½ cup pumpkin pie vodka
¼ cup sugar
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
Optional: whipped cream and ground cinnamon for topping

I can’t wait to try these fall cocktails, especially all the ones with ginger beer and bourbon. Yes, I realize that is all or most of them.
